As Presidential profiles go, even though it fits with the model of hapless right-wing President, it directly contrasts the paranoid micromanager that Nixon was.
Wouldn’t surprise me, though, that Kissinger did what he could to keep the President from changing the situation as Kissinger saw fit.
I’m sure the book has more than simply 3 hour delays on informing Nixon on various and sundry events.
The book itself would probably be an interesting read.
