Bad news is usually announced Friday night. This bailout is such a monster it is announced at 1 am on a Saturday. Politically, the only recourse available is for voters to support non-incumbents who are against this bailout. One of those is John Gard-R, running against incumbent Steve Kagan-D in Wisconsin, and Kay Barnes - D running against incumbent Sam Graves - R.

Another encouraging sign is the number of independents running. In particular David Krikorian in the OH 2nd district looks like a good alternative for those frustrated with the status quo.
