This was a little before my time but I remember hearing about “Cousin Dud” from family…y’all might not have heard of or remember Hadacol, ask your parents about it. It sounds even better than Ale-8-one.

Actually mentions Cameron Parish. A parish with about as many pipelines as people. I hope everybody is enjoying $3 a gallon gasoline, because that’s what we got for a while.

The continuing legacy of Edwin Edwards; the expansion of gambling comes up this year then gets pulled according to the IND.
Also, I don’t like the evil oil company angle of this story, but this is at least worth
a listen.
Lastly, Abbeville represents with Gary Luquette heading up Chevron in the US. Not bad, for a job.

I know with all the pictures of hurricane damage on Pecan Island, many of you have been concerned. The growing consensus was, ‘How is Mike Foster’s hunting camp? Will he be able to entertain his go-along-to-get-along buddies in style?’ Take a deep breath everybody, his camp is fine.

Really surprised to see this one. From Reuters, a story from Alexandria about blue-dog Democrats:
A quote: “There’s a philosophical shift where the common-sense party is Republican,” said Quint Carriere, who leads a local group of Republican activists. “Where your granddaddy was a Democrat, in today’s terms he’s a Republican.”

Also, a story on Mardi Gras, with parade floats labeled, “Mold Lives here.”
