Fully intended a complete and poignant post on V-E day…but got distracted by other (more local) things.
However, I at least wanted to acknowledge it before the day expires. Interestingly May 7th is also the day that the RMS Lusitania was sunk which brought the US into WWI.

Although I couldn’t find it on this website I swear I saw a cartoon Seuss did the day before Pearl Harbor, in which Japanese Americans were to coordinate with the Japanese to attack California.
